June 29, 2010 – Present:  Corporate Sales Representative, National Corporate Housing (Washington DC and Indianapolis, IN).  Generate sales by leasing fully furnished apartments to meet the needs of the client and fulfill the revenue objectives of the company. Complete all stages of paperwork, assist clients with needs that come up before and during their stay.  Develop and maintain relationships with clients and all properties where leasing may occur.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Ø      Closing percentage for sales is currently 88% year to date
Ø      Prospected for new clients for Account Executive and secured two new contacts resulting in $25,202 revenue in the last 6 months.
Ø      Increase in bookings from 144 (’10) to 184 (’11) from June - August
Ø      Company response time to incoming sales leads averages 2 hours.  My response time is 18 minutes.

September 26, 2010 – May 22, 2011:  Special Services Associate, Home Depot (Reston, VA). Work with other store associates to deliver outstanding customer service, resolve customer complaints or involve the appropriate manager to endure customer satisfaction, cooperate with other associates when asked to help, assist front end during high traffic including returns, pro desk, and garden.  Follow up on hot customer issues first, handles customer credit card applications and relevant follow up, take orders and make any order corrections in computer, in person or over the phone, pull special orders when necessary, promote services offered at the Special Services Desk and Pro Desk.  Proactively seek knowledge on all products and services.

October 26, 2009 – May 31, 2010:  Director of Business Development, VESTA Executive Housing (Cincinnati, OH).  Coordinate and lead efforts to grow customer base, isolate business opportunities, and increase company revenue.  Emphasis is placed on using initiative to find and secure positive margin business where there is a demand for VESTA’s services.  Position requires leadership and ability to self start and self motivate, work independently, recognize opportunities, and lead others where a team effort will bring results.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Ø      Designed, created, and distributed quarterly company newsletter to send to our corporate clients.
Ø      Created Social Media accounts and profiles for both the company and associates including Twitter, Plaxo, Facebook and Linked In.
Ø      Implemented monthly sales contests for our clients to encourage brand recognition and customer loyalty
Ø      Recognition & recognition program for our core communities and leasing agents 

May 19, 2008 – October 2, 2009:  Account Executive, BridgeStreet Worldwide (Cincinnati, OH). Responsibilities included identifying prospective clients, developing those prospects into actual clients and maintaining client relations at the highest levels.  Identify key decision makers for extended stay travel; generate leads through cold calling on the telephone, person to person meetings and networking with prospective and actual clients.  I networked and participated in local professional organizations within key industries specific to the assigned territory.   I completed weekly plans and quarterly action steps and review this information with the Director of Sales.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Ø      Identified 15 new prospective clients and developed them into actual clients (four of these fifteen clients were high level, national target accounts.
Ø      Worked with two national companies to be added to their RFP consideration
Ø      Presented one post RFP presentation to a national company

April 1999 – May 2008: Senior Account Coordinator, Oakwood Corporate Housing.  Inside sales of apartment rentals via phone, assistant to outside sales Account Executive, support of service to clients for reservations, coordinate work orders, create and distribute digital postcards via Power Point programs, relationship building and attending networking events, responsible for processing paperwork, making cold calls for Account Executive, pre-qualifying, and scheduling appointments for Account Executive.  I researched properties and new businesses, provided tours of properties, negotiated pricing with clients, created and maintained group mail and email accounts.
